PC This piece was made after I was inspired from some plants and flowers growing out of a drain in my home garden. Most plants and flowers just grow in gardens and plant pots, the idea of them growing out of drains and just about anywhere inspired me to play with the idea of it.
Also it has a stronger meaning to it too, the way the plants and flower are growing plus living in a dark and dull place like a drain sort off gives me the feeling that the flower is just being it’s own and not being what it’s meant to be. In other words it’s not or was following the way it was meant to be but doing with it wants in a way. The meaning in this is, be yourself and not what the rest of the world or people want you to be, just do what you want (with-in the law that is ) just like the flower in this image, it’s not a machine or robot it’s just being different and it’s own by living in a drain (sort of).

PC I love stories and that feeling of being dragged into it. Then you start to feel and imagine what's going to happen next in the story and what character is doing etc.
So with that in mind a created this, to reflect what I feeling and want to express about stories in general.

words from the artist
Never get that feeling you must “go with flow” and just to fit in. Fitting in is good but if you want more than that you must have show your own style and way of working. I really hate tutorials that sites and books have, because that is the way that person works that wrote the tutorial and your just copying it. There is count less ways to achieving the same thing. If you find your own way of doing it, it also makes it a lot easier coming back to achieving it again.
